The mission of the Yachats Academy of Arts & Sciences is to provide educational and entertainment opportunities for people on the central Oregon coast. Sponsored by Polly Plumb Productions, we encourage the residents of the village of Yachats, Oregon to work with Academy board members to organize those events that they judge to be most enjoyable.

Journey to a land of volcanoes, minerals, salt, and sand where geology evokes an emotional response and flamingos tint the sky. The area is visually stunning and rarely seen by outsiders. There will also be some images from Patagonia. This is a continuation of Greg Scott’s exploration of the distance reaches of our planet.
If time permits there will be a demonstration of photo editing for those who might be interested.
